Which shackles are 1" & 2"??
I remember someone saying they had some drop shackles that had 2 holes in them. 1 was for a 1" drop, the other was for 2" of drop. Was it Western Chassis?

Check the company sales brochure and don't guess about the change. By the way, what does the holes have to do with it anyways.

Tim, DJM and BellTech both had two holes. I "think" the Belltech was longer past the hole requiring the bed brace to be notched more....

I think most comapny's shackles have two sets of wholes. I know the DJM ones do for sure, as well as the ground force.

The only time I saw shackles with more that the two holes, were those that allow you to adjust to various heights. In the 70's they were the elcheapo brands which allowed you to experiment on how high or low you wanted your rear to sit. I had one set on a Torino that had 4 or 5 holes. Those multi hole ones had the tendecy to bend and colapse on you. I didn't know they still made that type since they broke so much.

I don't know of a company that doesn't supply two holes.

Right on. Thanks for clearing that up guys! I'm gonna throw on a shackle in the back of my truck, because it has a little "too" much rake. 1" lower in the back will be purrrrrfect.
