Thanks for all the replys guys. I think shipping just really kills the deal most of the time.

Kas68C10, do you have the link to the ebay auction?

Billsbowtie, how much is shipping on those steps? 75044 Garland, TX.

Thanks!

As a suggestion,if you can not find the parts(readily),cut down your current steps/sides.

Kat,

Yeah I thought about that but I'm not sure exactly where to take out the material and how much. I know I would need to take some off the backside of the fender and some off the front side. Any idea?

FirstGen, if you don't find anything, it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out where to make the cuts on your current bed.

You should be able to center the current fenders over the rear wheels & reverse engineer from there to get an idea of where the cuts need to occur.

Red face Doh!

On the how to question, that would be a good one for message board.(Sorry no personal experience)One way would be to measure a short bedside.I just happened to remember, think a friend has some short bedsides. Will check on them/steps(Tulsa)

Kat - see if you can find out ASAP. I either need to buy a set cheap or cut down these sometime this week to get this rolling.

Hello!

I have a complete stepside bed for 67-72 SWB. The wood is gone but the hardware is there. The bed is rust free and very straight as well. I recently bought a right front step to go with it and also a used tailgate whish is also rust free and straight. The only drawback is the left fender is for a spare tire.

I am asking $350.00.

Bed is located in Roswell, N.M. which is 8 hours from Ft Worth.

Thanks,

Perry

Kat, Very interested. Is there a number I can call him at? I found another guy that has a set of steps and sides for $175 about 2 hours from here. He just doesn't seem to be on top of things and I don't know when I would be able to get them from him...

Thanks Kat. I called him. If he wasn't missing one step it would be more inticing. Even still if this other guy doesn't come through tomorrow maybe we can still work something else at.

Anyone else got something, maybe closer???

Thanks for all the responces.

Im in Fort Worth and my friend has a short bed step box from a 74 truck that would work. He only wants 200 for the whole bed.
