door swap

Well, this weekend I bought a used hood from a guy with a 89 suburban to put on my '81 SWB. The burb was cherry I was shocked that he was parting it out. Anyway, He also had a great set of doors with power windows. First off, will these fit my truck? Second, is this any easy swap? What extra parts do I need off of the burb to make the windows work? Relays, wiring..ect.

I dont think they will swap over. All parts from 81-87 will work except for maybe the fenders. 88-98 will swap over but I dont believe the doors will work on a 81. Someone correct me if im wrong.

the doors will swap out i would get as much wiring as you can get and put it in like a factory setup
the doors from 73-87 or to 91 burb will bolt up but the inside trim ( door panels and attachments ) is different they will work tho trust me ive been rigging work trucks for years for crews to drive

This is a fairly simple swap. Remove the wiring from the door jab (drill the rivets holding the boots) Unbolt the doors. Trace all wiring from the door jabs under the dash and disconnect them. Since it is on a burb, there will be 2 extra wires to get out. The power windows/locks will be on a secondary harness.
