Installing Firebird side marker lights

Sometime back there was a post about using Firebird side marker lights in these trucks so I thought I'd give it a try. I like the flush to slightly sunken appearance of the Firebird side marker lights opposed to the stock lights that pouch out about 1/4". They are not exactly square but when the bezel is painted the color of the truck it won't be noticable. The side marker lights are from mid-seventies Firebirds (not sure of the full year range they were the same).

* Cut the tabs off the stock side marker holes
* Remove the gasket and trim it to the outer edge of the bezel
* Trim the edge off the Firebird side marker light housing all the way around
* The marker light housing goes in from the back side of the fender
* The gasket and the metal bezel go on from the outside of the fender
* Center the bezel in the hole and tighten up the speed nuts
