Wtf am I doing?!! (ha ha pics)

So the ugly truck was supposed to be dropped off at Maaco friday but you guys got me thinking about doing some of the bodywork before I dropped it off. I figured I would try to fix some of the smaller dents and remove some of the chrome, I even got the wife working on it . We have no idea what the heck we are doing but we learned some stuff and actually fixed some dents. Now I just have to align some of the body panels a little more. What a fun day!!!

Out the door with a couple extra hours of misc stuff it's going to be just over $500. I'm not expecting much at all though, I really just want the panels fairly straight and have it all one color. Right now it's 6 different colors :p

Adam, trucks looks awesome so far...the paintjob will make it look even better!! Do you plan on removing the door handles, locks, and bumpers? If I were you, I would.

Can't wait to see "after" pics. BTW - what color are you painting it?

I took off everything but the door handles and locks, we ran out of time so we couldnt get them off. We are painting it candy apple red which is the closest color they had that matched the cab now, I didnt want to have to re-jam the doors.
