I have the truck apart and I would like to center the rear wheel in the fender opening.Question is without putting the bed back on how much to the rear do I move the axle to center the wheel.This is on my 55 GMC 1st series with stock springs and hangers.

I cant answer the ?, but just a thought.....how about moving the location of the fender on the box? crazyL

Box and fenders are just painted, and I have to shorten the driveshaft 2 1/4" and the wheel need to be centered in the opening so I guess I will split the difference +/-, unless someone can give me the exact measurments
