cab question

im considering buying a members project truck but it really could use a better cab and im having zero luck finding a decent replacement. the truck is a 68 and im wondering which cabs i can use to keep this thing stock. i realize a 67 small window is out. so as long as i keep the 68 doors can i go up to 72?

yep, but some things changed over the years. In 72 the rear view mirror went to the windshield. ebrake was moved from hand to foot activated in 69 I believe. In 72 the doors have a screw near the vent window. Also in 71 I believe the throttle went from a rod to a cable. There might be other subtle changes.

As Jim said, and...

71 cabs have a raised area above windshiels for the rear view mirror.
71-72 cabs have a black plastic vent on driver side pillar.

I would say 68-70 cabs are in your target, 68 being your best because of the parking brake location.
