Speaker direction / location?

I have decided to build my own speaker kick panels from the great information shared on another post. Thanks to all involved. The question I have now is do I need to direction the speakers on the kick panel toward the passengers or where. I will be using Alpine 6.5" with seperate 1" tweeter. I am also using 4.5" 2 ways in the original dash location. Using a Alpine head unit at 50W x 4 should I amp the 6.5" speakers? Does the size of the kick panel matter?

Thanks,
Parrish

Use an amp!!!!!!!!!! All Head units are rated ISL (if struck by lightning)!!!!!!!!!!! Alpine makes a great head unit but a real 50 x 4 amp is over 1 foot square so how could you duplicate that in a radio and have room for CD and AM/FM!

I would aim the kick panels at the driver not the passenger! You spent the money on the stuff not your passenger and you probably spend much more time in the truck!
