starter issues

do fly wheels come in different sizes? because I installed one on a motor,and now the starter will not reach the fly wheel, and the other fly wheel did. is there any way to fix this without replacing the fly wheel

Yes, And you can change the starter nose cone. There are two styles the straight across bolt patern and the stagered. Get the oppisit style then the one you have now.
