My mom's '70 lwb

Just thought I'd post a pic of my Mom's '70 longbed. It's been in our family since 1979. Has 141k original miles. That's ONLY about 40k since '79! (she's 69 years old.) She thinks she still needs it to haul stuff. She says I will get it some day,... but she's not done with it right now. I have it here to change oil, air up tires, and in general,... check it out. It's kinda wearing out from sitting so much. Never lets her down, though. See why I like these trucks!

Thumbs up YEEAHHHHH Baby!!

GOOD lookin' TRUCK!
'course I'm a bit biased but that is the perhaps the classiest color combo ever sprayed onto a pickup truck! I got the little brother. Is that original paint? Lets see the glove box sticker!
Man, your mom's got a NICE truck! You be REAL nice to her, afterall, she IS your mom!
Thanks for sharing the image. H.

Thanks for the comments.

Actually the pics make it look a little nicer. Back in the early 80's, My dad had new rockers and cab corners put in. Also the side was painted between the mouldings to cover up the P/O's "name" that was painted on the bedside. (Farmer thing, I guess). Now the cab supports are going bad. Along with the normal front fender rot, under the battery. Motor starts and runs good even though it uses a little oil. If I ever get it,... it will be repainted the same color. I use to hate it,... but it's grown on me. I saw a restored one, this color, and it was beautiful. Thanks again for the comments. I wish I could buy her a little S10,... and get this one off the road, so I could redo it!
