2 Piece driveshaft question

I have a a 78 lwb and just put in new ujoint and carrier bearing. i now have a vibration above 65 miles per hour. Guy down the street said he would have a custom shaft made to switch to one piece and do away with the carrier bearing. i didn't have the rattle before the ujoint were replaced but now i do....any thoughts on this?

I just had mine rebuilt also, had them install all new ujoints and carrier bearing and had them balance the whole assembly. I have not one problem and the truck drives down the road alot smoother now. Did you mark wear the carrier bearing bolted to the frame, maybe it is not perpendicular to the drive shaft.
