Well I’m pretty much fed up with this terrible riding setup I’ve got now. Basically all the PO did was either heat or chop my current springs leaving me with no suspension travel what so ever. This makes the truck ride like a Chuck wagon!

So That being said what size of drop spindles would I need to keep this stance?

I will be getting stock springs. Will I need to get an alignment after I to this switch?

Looks like maybe 2"? Only way to be sure is to measure the height as is, get the new springs, put em in and measure the height again, then order the correct spindles.

Look at the big pic in my signature. That is 2.5 inch western chassis drop spindles, new stock springs, and 255/70/15 tires. Ignore the other pics. It had stock spindles and HD springs in those pics.

I like your truck...

I emailed Sporttruck Direct 3 times asking questions about the components I wanted to buy. They never responded. On Swervin's advice, I bought my stuff from http://www.performancesuspension.com. They even had a toll free number I could call. An actual human answered all my questions, so I bought everything from them.

Oh, and my tires should be the same height as yours, but a little wider.

Hey Lynx, there is a guy in Calgary who is a dealer for truck stuff. Unfortunately I don't have his name. I ordered stuff here in Guelph, Ontario and my shop got them from Calagary. Maybe do a net search.

Does Beltech make a good spindle? And how low do they go, I only see 2" on their web site. I also hear going past 2.5 causes issues...

I say go with a 3" spindle and be done with it...

I hear they can cause clearance problems...

The clearance issues are with 15 inch wheels. If you have 15s, you have to grind off part of the lower control arm to get them to clear the wheel. I plan to always run 15" ralleys, so I went with the 2.5" drop spindles to avoid it. If I planned to use larger diameter wheels, I would definitely go with 3" spindles.

It really is up to you to decide (if you run 15s) whether or not you want to grind the LCAs.
