Starter fusible link amperage?

Hey fellas!

I gotta rewire a Dodge mini-van so the starter starts off a push button rather than turning the key (they broke the ignition cylinder, so they can only get the van to the on position and not to the crank position). I need to know how many amps of a breaker I need to put between the starter solenoid and the battery?

Oh, and since I've got the attention of the electrical gurus, why do my interior lights come on and something under my dash make a sick buzzing noise instead of my horn honking? :p

To be on the safe side, make sure the fusible link (or fuse) you wire between the button and solenoid is rated at 40-50 amps.
