Blower motor for interior climate control
Hello everyone. Newbie here. Anyway, I have a 1998 Z71 and I am experiencing problems with my climate control fan motor. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't unless I give it a little convincing with my foot. When it does work it doesn't blow the air at the rate that it should. I am going to replace it; but I am not sure if this is the correct name for the part or where to get it. Can anyone point me to a good location to purchase this part?

OK. So I went with the motor at Autozone. Now, next question. How difficult is it going to be to replace the blower motor. Just take off the rubber cover and remove the glove compartment? Anyone done this before?

Its super easy, just like you said.
Just hope you didn't break the plastic housing while you have been kicking the crap out of the motor. If you did, you get the remove the dash, drain coolant, discharge and recharge AC system. Fun
