gas millage?

Can any one tell me what is the gas mileage of a 1988 Chevrolet 3500 Pickup with a 454 tbi? I really want one but I dropped my stock in marathon oil. Lol

I know a guy that bought one of those new. He said he had it a year and traded it because he only got 8-10mpg, and that was back when gas was real cheap!
