gmc/chevy core support

My 69 gmc core support (radiator) has the normal cancer along the bottom passenger side. I've got a much better spare 70 chevy core support I could use, but the gmc has the dual headlight buckets vs the chevy single pair.

The gmc headlight buckets are welded on, but probably removable. Anyone had any experience with this exchange? No one offers gmc core supports for sale that i've found. Any ideas?

Yes they will interchange, take a scribe and mark around the buckets on the support you are taking them from, THEN drill out the spot welds. Marking the position they are at on the old support will make positioning of them on the new support way easier.
