I have been in touch with GM lately, asking for a few misc items for 73-87.com. It was pretty hard to do this, and I almost gave up hope, but I finally got some information from them today. Here are a couple teaser pics, I will be adding this stuff to the site hopefully over the weekend.

Damn! That's a great, nay awesome addition to 73-87, authentic GM photos showing the assembly line. Nothing beats the feeling of those pictures.

In case you folks didn't notice, I believe the second pic above is a 1:1 scale clay model...just like this one.

I haven't gotten that far quite yet. I asked for five things, and got 4 of them...still working on the fifth. At least now I have a contact or two there, hopefully that will help me attain more information (special edition stuff too

Not too much lately.

I should be getting my engine back soon, once I get that back and in the truck I can start to hang the front clip and doors.

that 8-427 emblem looks to be a modified engine displacement emblem from a 69-72 truck. they look similar, except (obviously) never came with a 427.

Wonder what year that was taken on the assembly line. Jeff any idea what plant that was taken at as well? Who knows maybe someone's truck was pictured in there. Too bad there's no way to tell.

I didn't get any information on the pics Brandon, so no way to tell.

I believe they will be sending me full size high resolution pics on a disc, they asked if I wanted them when they sent me these and I said yes. Once I get the full size pics from them I will be uploading them to the website.
