Look at this!
I have been in touch with GM lately, asking for a few misc items for 73-87.com. It was pretty hard to do this, and I almost gave up hope, but I finally got some information from them today. Here are a couple teaser pics, I will be adding this stuff to the site hopefully over the weekend.

Damn! That's a great, nay awesome addition to 73-87, authentic GM photos showing the assembly line. Nothing beats the feeling of those pictures.

that 8-427 emblem looks to be a modified engine displacement emblem from a 69-72 truck. they look similar, except (obviously) never came with a 427.

Wonder what year that was taken on the assembly line. Jeff any idea what plant that was taken at as well? Who knows maybe someone's truck was pictured in there. Too bad there's no way to tell.
