I threw the vins into this sites decoder and they came up with this.
http://www.americanclassic.com/paint.htm TCL236Z507318 Model Year 1976 Division (unknown..but I figures its a GMC cause of the T) Chassis 2 Wheel Drive Body Style Cab Chassis Series 3/4-Ton Engine V8 350 4 bbl. Assembly Plant Fremont, CA Sequential Number 507318 VIN CK0247Z185011 Model Year 1977 Division (unknown code) but I figure its Chev by the first C Chassis 4 Wheel Drive Body Style Pickup Series 3/4-Ton Engine (unknown code) I think the first 0 is wrong in what you wrote here. Assembly Plant Fremont, CA Sequential Number 185011

Thanks Again Rod
A friend of mine is looking to build up a truck he has like an 87 or something and he is looking for a cab from like a 73-74 to be smog exempt any way he found these two trucks and wanted to know the years for sure, so that is why i was looking I apreciate your help with this issue just one more thing while i have you, what would a guy be willing to pay for a 1967-1972 chevy or mabe a gmc tow truck, in running order. I spoted one out here and was thinking it would be a sweet addition to my family. But then again I dont know if it runs or anything, so i was wondering if not mabe parts or something It would be sweet to have that bed on a 4x4 to make some $$ pulling the fools out at Hollister Hills Thanks again, and Happy Holidays

I would guess anything in California is worth lots here so I cant estimate an accurate price. Get a pic of the tow truck....depends on thew wrecker some and if it has wheel lift, hydraulics..type of wrecker...hopefuly not a home made type.
