OK lets see the Christmas 'COOL' gift list

OK first off I sold the 75 K10 yesterday, Not what i wanted $$ wise but good luck at all getting real money for older trucks right now, but at least now i have SOME money to work on the 81 truck & the 65 Convt..

New Laser level yeah ,like I really do home improvements :-( . , but At least I can hang my pictures of 60-70's prostock cars straight now and it can drive the cats Crazy with the disappearing red dot on the floor.

New 6.0Hp@3450 RPM shop vac. I see a dry shot of N2O into the intake to help me out on those real stubborn sand molecules in the carpet.

New Dremel XPR kit .Hey anything that spins at 35,000 RPM and does not have connecting rods to come out of an oil pan and de-cap me is worth a try. ;-)

Schwinn Sting Ray Chopper OK this one really isn't mine, but it is cool and I still get to ride it.

MERRY CHRISTMAS- DAVE

My son got me a Coca Cola Camaro Johnny Lightening car, some Hot Wheels cars, socks, and in his words the "Bionicle you always wanted dad"

Daughter got me a CD/boombox for the shop

Wife got me a new electric drill to replace my 25 yr old one.
Also got a new 4-1/2" grinder

Of course my son got all his hotwheels tracks, so I have other stuff to play with too

Well, there was this HUGE box under (beside) our tree for about a week. I thought it was a tool box. ( which I need) Opened it up , it was::::A Table saw.. Yee ha! There goes one of my best excuses for not getting some projects done. Hope I can still use my fingers to count to 10 this time next year.

purple gas , the first thing you make with the table saw is a sacrificial 'push' stick that you use to push the wood through. you need those fingers , or at least one :-) for city driving. DAVE

Bill, there is nothing in the shop you can't learn to grind/cut/polish/sand with that 4.5" grinder. Those grinder wounds are a long time healing though :-0

I got a remote starter / door unlocker, a new butane soldering torch, a laser mouse (actual laser, first of it's kind, and HOLY SMOKES this thing amazingly accurate!!!), lots of little odds and ends, and my new favourite tool...

SAWZALL BABY!!

I also raked in over 500 bucks for truck parts my father handed me this little white box, I nearly dropped it on my foot it was so heavy, he just grinned and said "almost as heavy as truck parts..." Opened it and found 400 loonies in it (1 dollar coins) all rolled up and ready to go straight to the nearest bank

Very good haul this year!

dang, those are SOME lights! guess you wont be caught working in the dark again? We have a pair of 8 ft HO overhead lights (4 bulbs total) in our shop, and a pair of portable lights for work in the dark outside.

i got a few things, but Christmas is mostly for my daughter who raked in so much half of it is staying at grammy's..

i did however get an entertainment center, Big and Rich CD (i got it for the wife, but i wanted it just as much), new sheets and a new comforter. We did ask for a video camera but maybe next year..

here is a pic of a couple of my daughters presents..

one is of a car that my daughter can take the engine and bumpers apart...it steers as well, though she is a bit big for it. Now she has something to "work" on when i work on the truck.

The other is of her castle, its funny, she left a note and list for Santa last night for next year saying she wanted a castle.. My sister sent it from CO and we didnt have a clue what it was..

Hope everyone had a good Christmas and a good weekend..
