Question OD trans from chevy?

Does anybody know where I can find a listing for the transmissions that will fit to a chevy I6 2 wheel drive? Without any modifications to the trans or motor. Changing the bell housing, clutch is fine, I am just not looking to machining anything.
I am wanting a standard and would prefer a 4 speed. So far I have come up with
NV3500
NV4500
NP-A833
Borg Warner T5/Tremec T5

Any help would be appreciated.

How about a Saginaw 4 speed with Borg-Warner overdrive?

Check out www.inliners.org The T5 behind an in-line 6 is very popular. I have one behind my 350, but the T5 isn't rated for much torque (290 ft lbs).

Thanks for the info to inliners. I found a five speed from a s-10 that will fit and I will have it rebuilt. When installing this trans, will I run into problems with a low hump and will the shifter, s-10, fit comfortablly?

Low hump is fine. Just remove the shifter when you put the engine and tranny in place, mark the floorboard from underneath, lower the tranny, drill some pilot holes and cut out you opening. Did you get the driveshaft from the S10 too? you'll need the yoke. I used a clutch set from an 85-89 Astro van. Which model T5 did you find? You can learn the gearing from the vinyl sticker (mine was 1352-145). Also check out the website for Jags That Run www.jtr.com for more good info and upgrades. Good luck, Scott
