Tweeking the hinges

I was surfing this evening and came across another car forum that they were talking about "Tweeking" the hinges so Poppers weren't needed.. Someone had asked the guy what he meant and he never answered, (For like 4 months )

Any of you heard of this?

I'm not sure, but I'll take a guess. I would assume that they are talking about adjusting the door hinges so that it requires a little extra force to close the door and so that the hinges push the door open slightly when the latch is opened. Usually, when people shave their door handles they put in door poppers to push the door open when the electronic latch is opened. Does that sound about right?

That's the only thing I could could come up with also. I just don't want to have to be slammin doors to get them to shut.
