Tranny leak question
I have a leak on my tranny where the speedo cable goes its raining to hard to get a good look at how to fix it is there an o ring or a nut that I can tighten up on it to stop the leak.

I think you are apost to turn the round nut on the end of the cable? I just try to turn that some more to see if the leak stops. Then if it's still there Id do what Sanity said and try the O ring route. Good luck with it man...Later Mike

Tightening the metal ring likely won't fix anything. There are 2 seals in that area. One is an O-ring that goes on the outside of the speedometer gear housing (AKA bullet). The other is in the housing where the speedo gear shaft comes out.
