Door Panel Question

I know this has been discussed quite a bit, but can someone help clarify something for me? I'm thinking of getting rid of the woodgrain panels in my truck, and I'm wondering what my options are. I know that the door panels changed after 76, but what kind of modifications would be required to get the 77 and later ones to fit into my 76?

Thanks in advance.....

Mike

IF you get manual guts from the 77-up, you can make it work, but you still have to drill holes in the door to make it work. 77-up manual window stalks are longer then the 73-76's. Non-woodgrain panels would be easier.

Thanks for the replies guys.....I have an LMC Catalog, but the ones that they have for the 73-76 ones are pretty much like the originals and wouldn't look quite right IMO without the woodgrain panel on them. I'm waiting on a Chevy Duty catalog and I'm still checking the web for others.

The price listed just gets the black panel. BUT, they have every concievable covering you can imagine, from Tweed to UltraLeather to real Leather.
