Electrical problem

I have a 87 GMC with a strange problem, when you shut the door the radio loses the station. The interior roof light burns dim at night though it isn't on. The horn wont blow. The truck starts fine and the headlights work at night.Any thoughts where to start looking? Thanks.

Sounds like your +12v for the radio is somehow wired to the pinswitch, maybe they tried wiring it like new cars where the radio keeps power without the key til the door opens. If its an aftermarket radio switch the yellow wire to 12v+. Or you might just have a bad pinswitch, you can pick one up at a parts store for a couple bucks
