WTB: '71-'72 1/2 ton leaf spring rearend-(MO) - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am looking to buy a 1/2 ton, leaf spring rearend, complete with leaf springs. Prefer '71-'72, but would consider a 6-lug older model also. I am located in central Missouri. Thanks.

I have one. Ready to go. Free if you come pick it up. And i will load it for you.
Urbana, Ohio. 43078. Rear, springs and hangers are all good.

Not a quick trip. But the price is right. If you have a small truck(S10,Ranger) it will fit nicely in the back. And gas would be cheap.

I have a 6 lug 3:07 leaf rear end with a nice set of springs, $150.00. I can measure it to see if you could swap 5 lug axles in it. It is out of a 70 GMC.

It measures just about 59" backing plate to backing plate. I don't remember which one you can change the axles in?? It was supposed to be a 3:73 posi as per the glove box sticker, but it wasn't. I need to look at the gear again, but I was sure it was a 3:07 non posi.
