Installed New Parts
I installed my New (to me) Grant GT steering wheel today. Then something funny happened, I got inspired. I ended up re-working my blinker knob and shifter knob. This is what happened. What do you think?

Definitely attention getting. IMO, I'd prefer them both to match, whatever I decided to do.

Nice job! I got crazy and made a wooden shifter knob, and blinker handles out of oak one day. Later the cheese.

How did you do the turn signal knob? I like that.

The knob on the turn signal is a piece I found in the gaarage. I just ground the signal lever to the size on a #10 screw, and then I threaded it with a 24tpi die. I'm going to do the same thing with the shifter when I can find another piece that matches the turn signal. Or if I can find a very small 8 ball I'll put that on to match the shifter.
