Do your heads have tapped bolt holes in the end of them?
If so, just use a 69-72 alternator bracket.

I don't believe the 67 283 engines had tapped holes in the head. Summit has an aftermarket bracket for headers or someone on the parts board may have a good used one.

Here's a set up from Old Air . They do AC units but maybe you can use something from them. I had to move my alternator over to the right when I put the air in. Brackets worked fine except I had to cut a small piece from the bottom to allow for the headers.
