Tilt bed on a 72 - anyone done this?
The K20 might get set up with a hydraulic tilt bed. Any thoughts/ideas/tips on doing this?
Any help is appreciated. Paul

I have a friend a few blocks from me that has a 68 longhorn (and yes, it is a 50th) that he installed a tilt bed on. He did it in such a way that it is bolted on, and can be removed without too much work. He uses it everyday for yard waste, and yes, people make him offers everyday for this truck. A rust free 1968 1 ton Longhorn 50th Anv truck is quite the thing to see. He brought it for $1000 about 6 years ago.
The only thing wierd about the tilt bed is that it sits about 6 inches higher, so the body lines no longer match. |

The tilt bed is for hauling purposes.
Thanks for the info. Keep the ideas coming.
