What are the wheels on this Longhorn from?

They kinda looke like Ford rims... Anyways, I think they look nice, rally style wheels for 8-bolts.

Would like nicer with matching center caps. Anybody running wheels like these?

oh heck...that was from my site! Those wheel are off a Dodge truck. Stan did allot of custom touches on that rig.

Anyways... cool deal on the wheels. But I didn't think the '94-up Dodge had a compatible bolt pattern/hole size... If they're a straight bolt-on, that would be cool. Any idea what mods are needed to run them? It's a nice looking truck!

If memory serves, it was a direct bolt on. But it has been about 2 years since I talked to stan. He has since sold his rig.
As for the linking...don't worry about anything...I just went to the site and it is working fine.

I like the Dodge wheels,too.Though about them before.I wonder if the 90`s GM centers would work.

I suppose if the special GM lugs they use to attach them are the same conical angle as the Dodge wheels require and they thread onto the studs, you should be able to use the GM center caps. I don't know if the lug nuts are the right angle at the bottom though. You'd need those nuts with the threaded part at the top, then the special plastic nuts and the caps. Finding info on wheels and nuts and what fits what isn't that easy to come by. I wonder if anybody has researched this a bit?

I think that angle(chamfer)is standard.If not,difference is insignificant.What I wonder is simply if the diameter of the GM caps is same or less than diameter of center of Dodge wheel before it starts to roll out to form ridge.I have black Chevy centers on black steelies(square holes)mounted on my`91 Suburban.They make those duplex lugs in 9/16" thread.

What do those square hole steelies look like? I've probbly seen some before...

I know the '94-up Dodge 3/4 tons uses a 9/16" stud, but the '93 and earlier Dodges use 1/2" studs. What's the older Chevy/GMC 3/4 tons use?

As for the diameter, I'm not sure. It might be tight on the Dodge rims. Might have to use Dodge caps? If anything, there could be some generic replacement Dodge caps with no emblems on them somewhere.

The old GM's are 1/2 invh on 70 and older, 9/16 71 and up.
