I am not positive on this, but I think only 20% of '67s had a big back window. Can anyone confirm this?

Hey fast dev, congrats on your recent truck! I also have a 67 4x4, with the big back window. Drop me a line if you have any questions as I have been through most of it with mine.

I'm not totally sure, but it seems that a 67 swb big window 4x4 is rare. Not sure on the numbers, but 67 was the only year you could get a small window, I've heard this from several sources. Anyone know for sure? Nice truck, I'd love to have it.

Thumbs up

Looks like only 1046 made period, let alone the rare large rear back window.

Wow fast_dev, looks like you have a rare find there. Good job.

wow, only 1,046 trucks like yours....guessing that most went to areas like the northeast where they would be needed, and totally rusted out by now...and wrecked trucks...and some are rotting in the woods and fields.....Your truck may be one of less than 500 left!!! My 67 step sure isn't rare....45,606!!!!!!

If they all came up here there aren't many left at all. Sending a truck like that up here (to the Northeast) would be like sending somebody to their death. The only 4X4's that I've seen up here (in my area) is a 71-72 Blazer that has been sitting in this guys front yard for years now, believe me, i've already payed him a visit and he doesn't want to sell it. Damn shame too, he says that he has had the thing for well over twenty years now and just can't seem to part with it. Nice enough guy but I think that I would rather give a truck like that to somebody who is going to fix it up rather than to let it sit there and rot away. Also, I just saw a 71 4X4 short-step for sale in my town the other day. Nice looking truck but $4000 is not in my budget right now.

Sorry, I hope I didn't hi-jack this thread.

Congrats on the 4x4!!! Most of them are rough after this many years. Just take it a piece at a time and she will be a new friend for as long as you own her. Great Find!!!

Those extra long hubs make a nice step for cleaning the windshield.
The inline six should be enough power to get you into trouble.
