69 sub with 72 front clip
the 69 i just bought has the 72 grill and bumper. i dont mind the 72 clip but kinda wanted to keep it a little bit original. does anybody have a 69 clip they would want to trade? i can probably email pics, ive tried to post pics on here and my computer wont let me. if not where could i find the custom grills that cover the entire front end(headlights).ive seen them before and thought they looked pretty cool. im in SE kansas, is anyone close? as far as i know there are only 2 classic subs around here and i have one of them.

hey man i have just what you need.i have a front clip off of a 70 suburban.i beleive it is a goldish color.it is a straight clip also.the grill has a piece in the very center that is pushed in, but i beleive it will push right out,its not bad at all.the fenders are awesome as well.i dont think there is any rust in them, that is the only reaso i bought the burb was for the clip.but i really want to go w/ a 72 grill.is your clip straight.is yopur grill good.is there any rust,if your fenders are bad, i would co9nsider just trading grills.i live in salina ks,not sure how far aWY U ARE,BUT I AM SURE WE CAN WORK SOMETHING OUT.LET ME KNOW.SEND ME SOME PICS.I WILL TAKE SOME TOMORROW AND SEND YOU SOME TOMORROW IF YOU EMAIL ME W/ YOUR ADDRESS.THANX...MIKE

did you ever find the clip for a 69? I hope to buy one this week from insurance salvage, it is a 69, but i prefer the 72 front, so if you have not made a deal, let me know and i would swap you, that is if I get the deal. i am an hour north of wichita and would come get it since i have in laws down in Iola. Are you close there? don't happen to know where i can snag a 3/4 ton suburb frame around there?
