Wink Which distributor should I buy???

I am looking at purchasing an MSD distributor, sould I get one with a vacume advance or one with out? What is the difference anyway? Thanks.

i am sure you want the vacuum advance, thats the one i bought anyways. are you looking at one that needs a box too?? or one that is a stock replacement

I was going to use the MSD-6A ignition control unit. I not sure if the MSD-8361 distributor has a vacume advance, I will have to call summit and ask...

The 6A box setup is pretty sweet. I would get one, but I can't figure out a good place to mount the box.

Unless you are looking for big performance, stock is fine. I bought the Jegs brand and for a less than daily driver, should fill my needs.

i`ve got a 6al box and msd dist. i think the dist # is 8551 or something like that, i love it and never had a problem out of it.

i got a MSD 6AL, 8361 dizzy, MSD 8.5mm wires, and a MSD SS coil. happier than HE!! with it

HEI works good also, plus you don't have to worry about mounting a box anywhere.
