Best Way to drop 90 Sierra 2/4
I want to drop my 90 Sierra 2/4 & will probably go w/ either a BellTech or DJM drop but was wondering if this is the best way to lower it or if I should remove a leaf?? I still want to be able to take a load..... Is there a difference between the Bell Tech & DJM kit??

To maintain stock ride and load carrying, you must use a drop spindle and shackle/hanger kit. The drop control arms are almost as good, but the spindles are easier to install. If you pull a leaf out, you will lose a lot of load carrying. Also beware of "dropped leafs". Some are just factory springs with a couple of leafs removed. My favorite lowering products have always been Bell Tech, and we have tried something from nearly every company. DJM would be a close second. The shackle/hanger kit is more work to install, but to maintain a truck that you can still use and enjoy driving, it is a worthwhile mod.
