new fireplace in the new house

what do you all think. cultured stone. this thing looks awesome. the mantel is custom made from natural maple. the detail on the bottom of the mantel is going to match the cabinet doors (shaker/mission style). my cabinet guy will make me anything i want for the same price i could buy an ok piece for. the cabinets were a little more, but they are all custom made 3/4'' solid maple( sides, backs, doors, shelves, everything). I hate filler strips. I work almost a second full-time job as a custom home-builder/contractor, and i think my partner and i must be putting his kids through college for as much work as we give this guy.

pic 2 is jobs 1 and 2 together. pic 2 is kinda blurry, see if you can guess what i am?

Thanks for the great comments guys!

herlonghorn78, the house is 1598sq. ft. started September 24, will be done easy before the end of this month. (This pic taken Oct 26) House has a very open floor plan, and a full basement, so it seems much bigger. I will get some updated pics for you soon.

n2 trux: i gave up eating doughnuts a long time ago (well...not the cream filled one's), and only in the privacy of my own house. couldn't take the embarassment anymore! j/k Thought you might enjoy an early pic of my work "truck".

jugernot, be safe.
