Question Buick engine trans swap ?

Gramps 84 buick is up for grabs. got a new rebult trans 200 I think. Will it bolt up to my 69 307 chevy Its manual right now and I somewhat know the process to that. Also will the engine 350 buick bolt into my 85 blazer 305 4spd? if so great if not fine.

the motor should bolt in, might need to change the motor mounts. as far as the tranny i am not real sure. cant remember if the bell housing will bolt up or not. also not sure if the tranny is the same length.

Is that tranny a 200, (3 speed auto) or is it the 200 4R (overdrive)
If the former, then it shouldn't bolt to the 307 onless it has a whunch of extra unused holes on the bellhousing right now.
The 200 4R is almost a definate daul patern bellhousing, so it should swap. The drive shaft from a TH350 will fit perfectly, you'll need a tranny cooler, automatic tranny crossmember, a lock up controll unit and a TV cable kit. Bow Tie overdrives is expensive...but they are the best in the buisness. They'll tell you how to set up the TV cable so you don't fry it in one season.

the 200 has the dual pattern like the 700r, I know many guys running 400hp big blocks threw those tranny's, they'll survive under stock eng. conditions, but need some tweeking for any real horsepower-(350hp up)

Is the motor a Corporate 350(Chevy motor) or is it an actual Buick V8? If it's a Buick V8 then you are going to run into problems with the bellhousing, mounts, ect...

I've never seen a 700 R4 with the dual bellhousing...what did they come in...what era? I've messed with early and late and have yet to come across one.
