That is the 500 hp 427 vette , and the Saturn ,Chevy HHR the gray one was tricked out .
The Chrysler ME412 is a V12 850 HP 0-60 in 2.9 sec.

I dont know why, but i just dont care for new cars. i'd take an old chevy or gmc truck any day over any new car.

I'm with dyingdeadman

The new styling is downright ugly as far as I am concerned, they all look like PT cruisers, which are the epitomy of ugly as far as I am concerned (then again, I do drive a flying brick, so who knows...)

The only two in there that look good are the Mustang and the Corvette...

The vehicles in posts 1, 2, & 5 are puke ugly. I hate the attempt at combining the bulgy SUV look with the 30s & 40s resto look. They need to either embrace the 30s and 40s with more purity or they need to pull more from the 50s and 60s.

The Vette looks great though it has the wrong rims on it, styling wise. Good body lines. The recessed door handles have that functional, aerodynamic look. The projection?, or at least protruding, headlights rock too. The design of the roof's sheetmetal pieces is a little off, IMHO. Maybe it should be one piece metal so the joint doesn't show.

The Mustang needs recessed chromed bumpers to complete the retro styling. Could be polished aluminum for lighter weight. From other pics, I know the hardtop needs a better fastback look. But I like the '05 much, much better than the econo look the Fox thru '04 stangs have had. The Mustang should have never lost the horse's mouth grill opening. The dinky one on '04s down to Mustang IIs was econo inexcusable.

The GT40 looks cool. I'm on the fence regarding the shape of the rear fender over the wheel. I guess it's OK. Maybe looks like many old time mods using rod.

That Chrysler looks fantastic. I think I could pull off that look. Feel free to disagree. 0-60 in 2.9 secs! Wow! Everything after the Chrysler sucks in appearance.

Thanks for the pics, Bill. Nice to dream of another world. Do you have a side profile pic of the Chrysler with the doors shut?

The first set of pics look like a trailblazer and pt cruiser mated.

Second set is butt a$$ ugly.

The corvette looks SWEET! 4x4POET:I think the corvette roof looks like it does because you can still get a T-top version?? That's what it reminds me of.

I recently went and looked at the new 'stangs at a local f@rd dealer. I wanted to see how much they were, not that I would buy one....but hey, where the heck is the camaro/firebird???? Stupid GM.... Anyway, I counted 11 cars, ELEVEN, and ALL were SIXES!!! NOT ONE V-8??? What kind of crack pipe muscle car are they trying to sell? Do you know who I see driving the newer 'stangs 90% of the time....women, and most of the newer ones I see all have a single tailpipe....main indicator of a V-6. I guess the only real muscle car left is the 'Vette!!!

IMO Toyota should get out of the big truck market. Haven't like a single body style yet.
