When I first started this build (76 stepper) I was going for the nostalgia look with the nice crager 15's or so, now after seeing some of your works of art I have feel into the larger wheel category, so heres my question, my truck is pretty much slammed, whats a nice size tire (backspace, width, etc) and rim combination, are 20's to much???? let's see pics, thoughts, anything you may have on the subject matter...I'm very interested to see what you all have done!!!

18"s and 20" are the best looking in my opinion. I couldnt afford it at the time but If I did mine again that what I would do.

i have to go against the grain here but i say go with a nice set of 15's.looks better than 18's or 20's imo.

I have 20s all the way around with extremely low pros in the front and big fat good years in the back.

. I wish i could've been smart and known i was gonna bag it or even lower it at the time I wouldve done the 18, 20 combo it looks nice, and even the truck out more when bagged or lowered I think.

With a static drop the 18/20 combo looks pretty good on our trucks. If it's bagged, I don't like the looks of that combo when it's raised to ride height. If you want to stay conservative go with 17's all around. If you want a clean contemporary look go with 20's on all four...

Here are some very good examples. The top truck has 17's and a nice stance to match. It's low, but not too low, and the tire/wheel combo fits the look very well.

The second pic shows what 18's and 20's look like on a static dropped truck. It's an awesome combo that's a bit more aggressive than the first one.

The third pic shows a nice 20" set up. It's about the same height as the others, but the 20's make it look completely different.

Tough choice isn't it....

Im going 18's and 20's with my setup, with this wheel...

Gonna cost an arm and a leg, but a bagged ride with those rims as a DD is just gonna be tops!

uhh, i'm no expert, but another thing to consider is (and i might be missing it here completely) but is your truck stepside? I'm not positive, but a stepside's fenders are maybe a bit more open, and would need something bigger to fill? Are you talking about putting rims on your stepside or a fleetside?

The 18/20 combo looks great when the truck is down. If you have to raise it up for driving it just doesn't look the same as a 20/20 combo, but that's just my opinion.

This is the best pic I have, and it doesn't really show what I mean. It was taken before my Blazer was bagged in the rear but it gives you an idea of what I mean....
