One piece side window parts salvage?
I am planning on doing the one piece side windows, but have never found a list of the parts I need to keep or the parts that the kit comes with. Anyone have a picture or a list of what you get with the kit and if there is any old weatherstrip you need to salvage etc. etc. Most of my seals are shot and I was just wondering if I'd need to buy any new ones or if they are included in the kit. Thanks.

All the window seals come with the kit along with all the hardware and instructions, if you buy the kit i have upgrade kits for hinges that include the friction pads for your door stops and in the instructions you have to cut your vent (wing) window post off below the window to install the kit, i also have vent post cutoff's saved up if you want to save your vent windows. You can do both windows in a day but to do them right the first time and not have to screw with them again it takes me 2 days but i work kinda slow.

So basically everything I need to install them comes with the kit? All I need is a good door and regulator? Also, how would I go about getting some of those pre-cut wing window pieces off of you? And if I buy the one piece side window kit and the short vent window chunks, is that all I'll need?
I live in Canada. Is the glass packaged well enough that it won't break during the trip?

I will put the cutoffs in the used parts section of my catalog at 10.00 each. I have never had a problem with damage in shipping on these they are packed in foam that conforms to the parts, plus you have our 100% money back including shipping guaranty.

Sounds like a great setup you have! Who do you use to ship products up this way? The reason I ask is that brokerage fees, duty and things like that really make the price of a project compound depending who it is.

muddpile,
Just to give you as heads up. The ups man will need a cheque or some type of payment to cover the brokerage fees taxes and duty. I had to pay around 150 dollard when I had mine shipped up.

Yeah, when I redid my corvette interior all my parts came from down south and they really stuck it to me at the border. I'll try and buy as much stuff as possible locally, but there are some things that you just can't get unfortunately.

Yeah, USPS is where its at. UPS is not worth a damn for international shipping. I paid more for brokerage, shipping, duty, etc. once than I did for the intake that came. It's good to know you ship USPS mothertruckers.
