Need a hub for 3 spoke wheel
Well after many phone calls I am buying a wheel from Original Parts Group for $150 USD. Here R.P.M. in Saskatoon wants $399 CAD for just the wheel. Problem is I need a hub to adapt this wheel to the van tilt steering column. GMC Paul's seemed to think a Grant kit might work. Anyone/vendors know for sure or have something to fit they would sell me?
Here is pic of wheel.

There are 2 different hubs. Look for a Camaro or Chevelle application. One hub is designed for the 67-68 (camaro for example) column that has NO ignition switch in the column. (This is the one I prefer) The other,... is the '69-up style column that has the ignition switch IN the column. (This one is slightly larger in diameter,... and more common,... or more likely to find used.) They can be found on a Chevelle, Camaro, Corvette, 3-spoke wheel. Or,... a Buick, Skylark, etc., 3-spoke wheels. OR,.... an Oldsmobile Cutlass, 442, 4-spoke wheels. All models from the late 60's to early 70's. They can be purchased NEW from people like Original Parts group, Paddock, Classic Industries,.... etc.

Also,... any pre-'95 GM steering wheel should interchange with any other GM column. So any of the "factory" hubs will work on your truck. I have one on my '71 Blazer.

I have that hub. It is a factory hub that will bolt right on. Did you get the tilt style horn contact with your van tilt ? You will need one and it should be black. You can email me direct @ vct@izap.com or call 510-651-5874 days.
Thanks, Bill |

What you need is a Grant 3163 installation kit. Mfr's suggested price is $22.??. I got mine at Auto Zone for around $7-8.00 US. The horn button cost me something like $22-25.00 US at Auto Zone also. Hope this helps?

Thanks for all the help, everyone. I am going to use a hub from a 67-68 camaro so the hub diameter will match the column diameter.
