steering wheel colors?

The only colors aftermarket places list for steering wheels are black, blue, brown and green. Are those the only colors originally offered from the factory for steering wheels?

I think 1967-68 trucks could have red ones, but for 69-72 I can't remember seeing any other than what you listed.

Red,Sanddlewood, aqua,&other greens.Basically, any color of interior had a matching wheel in`69-71.I guess those four that are reproduced are the most common.

One or more of the 69-72 era should have had a red one, I have a red horn button for one anyway.

What's with the horn buttons fading to white? The dark green one in my truck turned white too.

What about '72. My Cheyenne has a saddle interior, saddle column but a black wheel? Is this original or was it changed by a PO?

Probably original. My 72 deluxe had a saddle interior with a black column and wheel.

I wasn`t sure about`72.I`ve only had`72s w/tilt,or with either black or parchment interiors. The one I have w/o tilt & parchment has black wheel/column/dash-pad.I don`t think GM did sandlewood in`72.I have a`72 GMC w/o tilt.It has a blue wheel/column.Don`t know if GMC differed from Chevy on this.Shouldn`t wheel and column match, though?

My '72 is not a tilt. It has a saddle column and a black wheel. The PO did put in a auxillary horn button under the dash which makes me think the original wheel may have been removed at some point, then replaced again with a black 67-72 wheel. Should my stearing wheel be brown (saddle)? Anyone else out there w/ a '72 cheyenne (not super) with a saddle interor? What color is your stearing wheel?

I've got the original Sandalwood steering wheel off my '72 in the garage. It is hard to find any of the replacement parts in Sandalwood. The dash pad is sandalwood and the top of the dash is painted to match.

Maybe my `72 with parchment interior has black wheel/column/pad because it`s a Highlander Package that has blue plaid cloth inserts in seat.Sandlewood doesn`t play into this color combination. The other `72 with parchment interior has tilt.So it`s wheel/column/pad are black and it`s a CheyenneSuper with the black/white houndstooth inserts.Maybe with parchment interior it has sandlewood or black depending on paint color and whether it`s a Super(black in the houndstooth)or not.

I have seen a few parchment interiors with black pad/column/wheel/no tilt. In any case, the wheel should match the column though..

My '70 came with a red steering wheel that's in about the same condition as the one in the picture above but is now hanging up on the garage wall.

My 70 Blazer has 4690AC Gold Vinyl Trim on the glovebox sticker, but the seats look like parchment to me. The steering wheel matches the steering column, it is a 3 speed standard on the column. The plain steel door panels are off white. Should the shift knob match the steering wheel? Does anyone have a good pic of a sandlewood wheel they could post, so I can see if this what my wheel and column are. My Blazer only has 72,000 miles on it, so I doubt if much has been changed on it. Thanks for all the help.
