K5 Buckets and matching console f/s

Gray seats and console, clean, no tears or rips pulled from (I think) a '91. They do recline and are in excellent condition. Asking $200 + mail or trade for 4" rear lift springs or ??

I will get some pics up tonight

It's pretty dark out and these are the only ones that turned out. I'll try and get some more during the day tomorrow.

Why you selling the seats?
Would you consider including the rear seat too?
How did you mount them in the '83? Would you include any special mounts created to mount them in an '83?

I am actually switching to a bench, I rarely have anybody in back so I am not too worried about access to the back. As far as mounting all I did was drill two more holes and bolted them in, install only took about 45 mins. Sorry I am keeping the rear.

Bump for Adam,

PLUSinfo on another optional mounting solution...

I mounted some in my '78 by building a mounting plate that bolted to the stock locations:

They look like this mounted now:

I have a set of buckets and rear seat out of I believe it was an '88 Blazer. They are blue and the truck only had ~60k - they are just like yours, except they are blue. The interior in my '81 Jimmy is blue (why I bought them), but that rigs is going to get "cabbed" off to make SuperSWB 4x4.
I have 2 2wd Blazers ('81 & '82) and they both have red interiors. The (rusty) '82 will get driven by my gf and I'll leave it up to her (and her dad that builds street rods) to deteremine if she wants to go through the body and make it real nice. I am going to keep the '81 as my own but it doesn't have any seats.
Cochino, is your whole interior grey? If not would you be interested in trading your grey seats for a set of blue seats? If IIRC your blazer is blue?

OR captkaos I see that your Jimmy is blue, are you going for the Richard Petty (STP) look with the blue/red combo, or would you be interested in a trade for your red seats?
Also, if you still had the template for those mounts, I would really appreciate the info so I could make my own. Do you think there would be an interest in parts like that? We have a full sheet metal (10+ turrets / 2 Mitsu and 1 Cincinati lasers) and fab shop here at work. If I can draw it in Solidworks, we can make it. Maybe we could come to a business arrangement?

Maybe just thinking out loud here.......

Actually it will be red/white/blue in the initial "get it on the road" state. I am going to keep the seats though.

I still have them and I can get you a set made up if you want some. That is what Captkaos Customs is. I am working on developing/selling 73-87(91) stuff though the site. I also build dropped crossmembers. As for the interest in the seat mounts, well, you can answer that the best, I have offered to sell them to those interested before. Most people would rather build their own.

Hmmmm, it is possible if I had the dimensions of the seat mounts and some pics. Not making promises, but PM me and I'll check it out. BTW, are the seats from a reg cab? old or new bodystyle?

Once the seats show up I'll get you some measurements. They are from 99 crew cab.

since they are going into a Blazer, you may not need any brackets. If you need to drill some new holes, make sure you reinforce them. Those are the seats I am planning on using in my Blazer too, but without the headrests.

I happen to have the seats here at work. I took a pic of the passenger side, mostly because it was on top. The holes are spaced about 13", center to center. The drivers seat has a mount at the far left, and one that will end up on the trans tunnel, at the right of that seat.

I have a set of 98 ext. cab buckets in my Blazer now. To mount them, I lined up as many existing holes as I could, and drilled the remaining ones. I used grade 8 bolts and fender washers to mount them. Just find the biggest, thickest fender washers you can and bolt them in. You may need to make some adjustment for the height of the trans tunnel, but I am not 100% sure. My Blazer is 2wd, so it has the smaller hump, but I haven't set the bench seat in it yet, either.

Thanks! those look just like pretty close to the brackets in the blazer now? How do you thinkthey are they going to be width wise? (I know you said you havent actually put them in the blazer yet)

I have the 98 style buckets in there now, and they fit just fine. I think you will really dig the bench. I am looking forward to putting it in my truck as well.
