Angry 80 GMC intermittant rough idle

Hello fellows-I have a problem with my 6 cyl.auto 80 GMC. When Driving and pulling to a stop sign I have this intermittant rough idle while in gear. Sometimes when I stop she runs great and then sometimes it's shake rattle and roll. Also sometimes when turning around on a slope the truck will stall. I installed new plug wires, plugs distributer cap, rotor, air filter. Should I be looking at carburator, vacuum lines or other?

Sounds like carb float issues to me, as far as stalling going around corners My truck does the same thing with the intermittant rough idle, I've changed out the dizzy completely, and it still does it sometimes...

Thanks Russell, I kinda thought that would be it.
By the way what's the weather like where you're at. I live in Pgh, Pa. and we've had some decent 40-60 degree weather the last two weeks. we've had some rain though.

as for the rough ride, it sounds like either you have a spring bushing out of whack somewhere, a bad shock, or [maybe] a loose or pulsating brake caliper.

Dear magnethead, The idle is rough sometimes. Actually the truck rides smooth --as good as some heavier cars. Thanks for trying to help me, I appreciate it.
