67 Small Window

My 67 is a small rear window. Were all 67's small? Is there a production breakdown somewhere of these trucks? Thanks to everybody in this forum, you guys are great.

There were a few big window 67's. I have seen very few but they are out there.

The big window was an option,I believe, like in the model years prior(Panoramic). What is rare about the small window is only one year out of six(the oldest) had it.Also, until more recently, the focus in these trucks was mostly on higher optioned trucks. With the "Plain-Janes" being largely overlooked or restoration.

Mine is the large back window. I like the small window too but I was after the larger.

Should run a poll, I vote for small, the big ones are like driving a greenhouse in the summer, unless you tint heavy, then it screws with your night driving.

I have a large back glass. I've had so many people argue with me that my truck is a 68 instead of a 67, just because of the big back glass

Since the panarama larger window was a rare option, I would think that it would make the truck more rare and valuable.

I guess it depends on who you talk to, because I would rather have the small window, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. It's more rare, but it's only more valuable to someone who would rather have it I guess.

The small window is popular now.The Panoramic rear glass "is" more rare "and" more valueable by classic standards,ie;more options. The small glass is "more desireable" to a large group of buyers. One of the reasons most want a `67,even over a `68 that otherwise shares the same body-style.That,and the absence of side marker lights.Which is another reason some take the `7` over the `8`.Make sense?

I had heard that the big ones were end of production 67s and used early 68s cabs to finish.

My dad has a 67 chevy truck that has a big back glass and side markers. According to the VIN tag the truck was built in december 67 and IS a 67 truck. I would agree with the left over parts argument.

I have one of each and see about an equal number of each around the NW. I like the small window on the short stepside since it matches the lines of the narrow bed better. I think the Panoramic window looks much better with the fleetside box. Just my opinion.

He is talking about a 67. 67's had small windows unless you had the big window option,It got popular because of no blind spot so they made it standard in 68-72. All were big windows those years

Hey Redneck67,I s your Dads truck titled`67?I`d think a truck built in Dec`67 would be a `68.If it`s titled`67 maybe DMV botched it.
