HELP!!! need 12 bolt driveshaft holddown ubolt thingys quick!

i put my trans in...and realized the d@#%head who took the truck apart didnt keep the bolts and u bolt things in the rearend for the driveshaft to attach to. i went to advance and he said you cant get them new.

There's 2 different types depending on your rear. It depends on whether your yoke has threaded holes or smooth holes in it.

Either ones are available new at the dealer if you get in a bind for them and can't wait.

NAPA, Advance and Autozone have them. They are usually in the "Help" section. The parts are made for Motormite. The Advance Part number is: 81018.

you can buy them new- i bought two for my dads 94 k3500 front driveshaft... i cant remember where i got them at though... i think it was autozone or fishers auto parts (federated auto parts)

If you have threaded holes, they aren't u-bolts. They're curved retainers and bolts.

You'll have to measure them up to your yoke. There are a few different sized retainers. But yes, that's what they look like.
