How did you come up with the name?

How did everybody come up with the name for their truck? My 72 is called Coyote Ugly because it fits. My 86 is named Moya, just because I love the show Farscape...

Mine is named "Stitch" partly because of the stitch mounted to the dash and because it is "99% evil and 1% good!!!"

The jury is still out on the name of my truck. My mom calls it Jane, my sister calls it Sasquatch, I call it the GMC (which is what I refer to all other GMC's as), my dad calls it "that yellow thing" , and my gf calls it the beast.

My Wife's 67 C10 (still in the planning and beginning of it's Ground up) is called KOPO Karen's Office Production Order. It's going to be a truck that GM shoulda built as a show truck and concept vehicle. Using parts and items that were available '67 ' 68

Hope to start posting pictures soon

Tennessee Stud

We waited for 3 years before we came up with our name. We moved frome Tennessee to Arkansas to Texas. Our truck is the color of a gorgious sunrise. When we bought it it was green. Put all that together and this song sums it up.
"Tennessee Stud". It is an old Jimmy Driftwood song and the chorus says;
"Along about eighteen and twenty-five
I left Tennessee very much alive
I never would have got through the Arkansas mud
If I hadn't been a-ridin on the Tennessee stud.
The Tennessee stud was long and lean
The color of the sun and his eyes were green
He had the nerve and he had the blood
And there never was a hoss like the Tennessee stud."

Now all you need is a Chestnut Mare(Byrds)and you`ll end up with a full stable. The first black foal would have to be Black Beauty.A palomino(GMC color)would just have to be Trigger...Good name/nice truck/great color

I haven't really settled on a name yet. It's only been 5 months.Junker is what I call it most of the time, mainly because I took parts from everything in the junk pile to put it together. That and it truely is junk.

Advise for you guys with wives asking"when you gonna fix-up that POS".You gotta give a woman what she wants if you wanna keep her. So,fix that POS up!Then she`ll probably change the name to"Hers".Don`t worry though. Now what can she say when you go out`n fetch one for yourself.See?You`re goin` about it all wrong.

"The Dump" and "The Pickup". Not very creative, I know. All my creativity gets used up on my paying customers these days. Someday I will have the Weekend warrior though. Probably a 67 LWB with a nice rake and a built 350 Just some knobby truck tires and rallies.

Dad's old green truck - the 70
Tessa's truck - the 82
dad's truck - the 96

Originality has been lacking a bit here
They all had several names, but somehow the names my son choose stuck.

I used to call mine the "beast" but my girlfriend didn't like it. She knows how hot I think Faith Hill is and I'm a huge Tim McGraw fan....so she was renamed "Faith." She also HATED my truck until I let her drive it once. She did her first burnout ever. I almost crapped my pants.....she liked it, she loved it, she wants some more of it.

My old 72 is called "Fast Orange". It's kinda ironic because its not that fast, but it is orange, and people laugh when they hear it called that. Some people choose to call it Gojo.
