By accident I ran across this stuff at Lowes its called Peel and seal self stick alum roll roofing it comes in a 100 sq. ft roll for 79.99 36" by 33' long according to the box it comes in smaller widths. I used this weekend to do my 87 dually. works great easy to use. I didnt even use a heat gun but its pretty warm here you might have to use the heat in colder climates. I dont think I used even 1/2 the roll I may do a second layer. Just thought I would pass it along.

I've heard of it before. From what I've heard it works fine on a horizontal surface, but I wouldn't use it on vertical. Just a couple tips I've heard. I use Brown Bread Myself.

I used it on the back wall of my cab and its there forever. I thought of using it on the roof I know it will stick alright but I dont know if it will affect the headliner. plus its a lot cheaper than the others.

Appreciate you passing on the tip.Its one of the best things about this board.
I'm going to try it in a daily driver type 4x4 we just started working on. Brown bread and Dynamat are pricey, especially when you're working on more than one truck. I like to find things that give a good benefit without spending a fortune.Thanks for sharing your "find" Rocky

I put some brown bread in a suburban. It worked well and cost a bundle! Can't wait to put some in my truck.

Im using the same stuff (peel and seal) on my 39. I found it at a local roofing supply, 12" x 33'. I've done about 1/2 the cab. If you use some 3M 90 (i think) adhesive with it it should hold to the walls and ceiling very well. I had to remove a small spot and had to use a screwdriver to scrape it off.

i just did up the entire interior of my 81 c10 with fatmat. its exactly the same as dynamat. you get it off ebay in either 50 ft or 100 sq ft. it even comes with a dynamat example to compare and a roller. it was $130 for 100 sq feet. good stuff.
