what do i do for a PS bracket?
this PS box and pump is off a 72 GMC. i need a bracket for it.

That is not a 72 pump, it's newer. Your water pump and all the rest of the brackets are newer too.
All the parts in that picture are long water pump stuff. Trucks went to long pump in 73.

all the rest of the stuff is off an 86....the PS stuff is from the 72 i bought. the 86 pump bracket wont fit this pump....where can i get one that will?

Why won't the 86 bracket fit that pump? It appears to be the same pump that an 80's model truck would have run.

it's not.....this one is too wide to fit in the crossbrace part.

Have you pulled the pulley off yet and checked for certain what's going on? Those pumps are real universal through the years. I have several pump and bracket sets under my workbench right now. They interchange pretty freely. The secret is pulling the pulley and old brackets off first.
