So I got a wild hair!
Well, The more I hash it over, the more I become convinced, that the truck needs a turbo. Nitrous is cool and all, and the blower idea was cool too, but I think a Garret GT42 just may be where its at. I guess I will have to keep you all posted as this idea unfolds

I think whichever way you go would be cool. Any truck with way too much power (if there is a such thing as too much power) is cool, no matter how it gets there.

With all the room under our truck's hoods, TWIN turbo would be an easy fit with room to spare!

I hopefully will have a video this weekend on my brother 2000 Silverado 5.3L with an STS turbo at the track. I have a turbo setup planned for the future also.

Right now the setup I am looking at is a Precision 76 mm turbo, 50 mm blow off valve, 44 mm wastegate, and a 750 hp capable front mount intercooler.
Basically I have to run huge BOV and wastegate because I to run lower boost levels on the shortblock ive got now (8-10) psi. With 8 psi on the 406 ive got now, I will have about 500-550 rwhp. My shortblock can handle up to about 10 psi, so I should see a max of around the low 600 range. When I build a new shortblock, the turbo can really be utilized and I will push 17-18 psi. This means around 850 rwhp for me . Oh yea, screw electronics...this will be blowthrough carburated PS: This also means that there will be a brand new set of Heddman Elite ceramic coated headers up for sale.
