Body Mount Bolts
Are the Body Mount bolts welded in from the factory?
or did I just get very unlucky with the previous owner? ![]() Mine are welded in at the bolt head to the floor in the recessed part. I'm replacing the body mounts today and I'm having to grind it out with a dremel.

I think its obvious at this point that I am going about this all Wrong.
I have completely underestimated this project. I figured that I would just loosen the bolt on a corner, then jack that corner up, then remove rubber and replace with new rubber. No big deal right? WRONG. This sucks Why didn't you guys warn me?

I must be lucky, my 67 and 69 were just bolted. You'll get it bro, and its definately worth it. I could feel the difference in the ride.

Thanks for the replies guys. I got the drivers side front and rear done. I'm going to relax a bit and tackle the other side tomorrow.
Air Chisel actually sounds like a good idea.
