there is a guy in edmonton with 2 short fleets for sale for $500obo (new ones go for around $690 in canada). They are factory sheet metal with no rust, the only thing is that they were cut short just behind the stake pocket because someone tried to make them work for a blazer. The front half of my bedsides are good, how hard would it to graft them together? I will be in edmonton tomorrow so i was just wondering what you guys think of the deal.

Are these complete beds and he cut both beds? Or are there (2) bedsides?

Certainly bed sides can be welded together but if it is not done right it would be a real problem to make the bedsides look good. For the amount of work to be done in order to use them, I would look at the price as too high.

I Agree, sounds as though you are going have to put some work into them to make them work for you, at that point it no longer a great deal.If you are not pressed for time I would just wait til something better comes along.

GMC Paul has new bedsides for $399 ea + delivery. Outside of delivery it is not too bad of an option.
